It's July, only dark for 4-5 hours per night. This was communicated as being a TINY bathroom but it really is TINY.ĥ. This is for the WING Cabin, bathroom is TINY. I didn't bring it up again figuring they did what they could but no follow up to see if it was working or not.Ĥ. Called it in and was told it would be looked into, never heard anything back but it never got fixed but we could live without it. Remote, Very far away from town, unpaved road so it takes an extra 15 minutes to get anywhere.ģ. You literally have to dodge the potholes.Ģ. I can't even imagine what this would be like in the winter. Roads leading to this place are horrible, huge potholes and this was in July. Clearly a property that is well cared for, everything is meticulous.ġ. Communication and Info pre arrival including various activitiesģ. Our Stay was from July 10th through July 13th, 2022 - in the WING Cabin. If there were 100 stars to award, I’d do this with no questions asked! I highly recommend it to all !!! We loved every minute of it and will be back a lot. ![]() And yet, we were not bothered by anyone ~ the owners and their staff were like ninjas! There was, however, the “office” cabin with lights always on, the phones for 24/7 staff were clearly displayed, the necessities, including bear spray, fishing poles, rubber boots and ice chests at the ready… We had such wonderful time!!! I honestly felt I was visiting my loving grandma. The attention to details was stunning! We had two strategically placed super comfortable rocking chairs AND binoculars by the window to view Resurrection Bay! Knowing we may have to walk our puppy in the middle of the night, the owners supplied us with a flashlight, dog treats and poopy-bags! We had a folder full of menus of local restaurants, fishing charters, coupons, even a tsunami escape plan. Our overall communication with the staff was top notch! When we arrived the room was ready, instructions were “blonde-friendly”. It described all necessary information and plus! We received right away and also the day before our travels tons of information about restaurants, tours, fishing charters, galleries, traffic conditions, useful points regarding shopping. A very informative welcome email came in shortly after. We found this pet-friendly place near Seward (thank you, TripAdvisor!), reserved our stay, and surprisingly got our confirmation right away. My husband and I, along with our giant puppy, decided to support our local businesses and take a “state-cation”.
